Hi! Welcome to my blog! Please feel free to go back and read my previous blogs. My blogs tend to follow an interrelated path and reading them will be helpful in catching you up on my thought processes.
Welcome back to those of you that have been here before.
Today, in light of what is going on in our country and our world, I would like to give clarification to my purpose for being compelled by the Holy Spirit to start this blog. If you read my bio then you know I am a retired teacher. I became a teacher because of my great passion of sharing knowledge and teaching the skill set necessary to obtaining knowledge – lifelong skills I believe are critical to living life to its fullest and are relatable to all pursuits of true knowledge.
In truth, we are living in perilous times. We are experiencing such anxiety that I believe we can get a sense of how people in war torn countries fear for their very existence to the extent that food, shelter, and clothing become less important concerns. In peaceful times, we rank food, shelter, and clothing up at the top of our list of security concerns. Besides religious freedom, many people have come to the United States of America just to have that security. Now, it seems as though these security concerns and even our freedom could be in jeopardy. But there is life changing news. God is in control!
He is in control to the smallest detail, telling us not to be concerned about what we shall eat or what we shall wear. (Matthew 6:31) In verse 33, He tells us to seek the Kingdom of Heaven first and all these things will be given to us while we are busy seeking Him. We don’t need to fear or worry because the most powerful Being in existence is in control. Amen! He will uphold us with His righteous hand (Isaiah 41:10) and guard our hearts and minds. (Philippians 4:7)
I have created this blog to share the knowledge I have gleaned from God’s Word concerning our future on this planet and His plan set forth to save us – if we are willing to abide in Jesus as He desires to abide in us. A plan that is given freely to each and every one of us. (Titus 2:11) I believe the Holy Scriptures have much to say about the times in which we live and God is eager to share that knowledge with us, His children.
I do want to note that His plan of salvation is not for a privileged few, but is for every man, woman, and child; past, present, and future. Everyone, living and dead, are all His children even if some may choose to reject His claim as our Creator and will not accept His gracious inheritance.
Thanks for joining me and I hope to see you again. Please, subscribe, share your thoughts, questions, and prayer requests. If I can’t answer your questions I will do some research. Please remember to be kind and polite in you responses and I will be glad to chat with you.
God bless and may the Light of Jesus dispel any darkness around about you! (Psalms 18:28)
